Campus safety, especially for kindergartens, has always been a top priority for schools, parents, and society. To strengthen entrance management, prevent unauthorized access, and avoid potential vehicle collision risks, we recently completed a customized security access control project for a kindergarten, combining pedestrian control and vehicle safety protection.
Project Overview
The project is designed specifically for the daily operation and safety needs of kindergartens. We deployed a set of swing turnstiles equipped with dual-height face recognition terminals for pedestrian access, and installed automatic hydraulic rising bollards at the main entrance for anti-collision protection. The whole system realizes intelligent, safe, and orderly management of teachers, students, parents, and vehicles.
Dual-Height Face Recognition Swing Turnstile
Considering the height difference between adults and children, we use a special dual-height face recognition device:
- Higher position for teachers and parents
- Lower position specially designed for children to easily scan their faces
The swing turnstile features soft anti-pinch protection, fast opening speed, and effective anti-tailgating performance, which ensures safe and quick passage during peak hours of school drop-off and pick-up.
It supports face recognition, IC card, and visitor management, making daily access control more standardized and traceable.
Automatic Hydraulic Rising Bollards
To further enhance campus security, automatic rising bollards are installed at the vehicle entrance.
